Privacy policy

What data we collect and why

We collect personal data only where we have a genuine reason to do so. Below is an honest account of what that looks like in practice.

When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, phone number, and payment information. We need this to process and fulfil your order, communicate updates about your shipment, and handle any issues that arise.

When you complete the shade finder quiz, we collect your email address, shade preferences, install type, length preference, location, and how you heard about us. We use this to match you with the right products and to send you relevant communications through Klaviyo. You consent to this when you submit the form.

When you sign up to the waitlist or subscribe to emails, we collect your email address and any preferences you indicate. We use this to send you updates about drops, early access, and brand news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

When you submit a review, we collect your name, email address, country, star rating, written review, the shade you purchased, and any photos or videos you choose to upload. We use this to publish and manage customer reviews and, where you opt in, for user-generated content and marketing purposes.

When you browse our website, we collect data about your visit through cookies and analytics tools, including pages viewed, time spent, device type, and approximate location. We use this to understand how the site performs and to improve the experience.

Legal basis for processing

For customers in the UK and European Union, we process your data on the following legal bases. We process order data because it is necessary to fulfil a contract with you. We process marketing data based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We process review data, including any photos or videos you submit, based on your consent. We process analytics data based on our legitimate interest in running and improving our business, where that interest is not overridden by your rights.
